Sunshine is supported by many local large and small businesses in the local community including major supporter Hasbro, the toy and game company based in Stockley Park.
We run local community events most issues including successful parenting seminars with speakers such as parenting guru Penelope Leach and the editor of Practical Parenting Magazine, Penelope Leach. Summer 2005 sees the launch of the first of our annual Party in the Park events - a free local community fun event for families with children under 11 living in Hillingdon.
Here's what some of the advertisers have to say about Sunshine: Alison Berry, Hasbro UK Ltd "Hasbro, as one of the worlds leading toys and games companies, are very proud to be supporting Sunshine Magazine. Our customers are primarily children and their parents, grandparents and friends. As part of our whole company ethos of, making the world smile, we are very keen to give something back, by working with, and helping, the local communities in which we operate. With our UK and International head office based at Stockley Park, we very much want to get involved in local community activities. We realised straight away that Sunshine Magazine would bring essential information to parents all over the Hillingdon Borough - helping to make those parents smile by making family life more enjoyable and fun!'"
Mike Crane, Uxbridge College "It is very exciting for the College to be involved in supporting Sunshine Magazine and to hear the views of parents on the provision and access to courses and services. From a personal point of view having worked in Hillingdon for four years, it is excellent that there is a magazine where parents in the Borough can access relevant information and air topical issues on the well being and development of children. I wish the magazine continued success."
Helen Vincent, Hillingdon Libraries "We have been delighted to support Sunshine since it's inception and have found it a useful tool for advertising in and distributing information about our elearning opportunities. Our copies of Sunshine in all Hillingdon libraries go like hot cakes!"
